Even as the calendar year is coming to an end, we keep busy! Here's a sneak peek at our December 2024 new features and improvements:

Admins can now enable retakes on Common Assessments by selecting User Preference on the Common Assessment's Global Settings modal. This empowers students to learn from their mistakes, fosters a growth mindset, and encourages mastery of the material. Learn more here.

The Accent Keyboard now supports Spanish, French and German, allowing for more accurate assignment creation and completion.

The Accent Keyboard is now supported on Short Answer, Free Response, and Fill-In-The-Blank questions, enabling students to accurately input responses in languages that require special characters..

We've increased the maximum amount of text tabs on paired passages content type from 2 to 4 tabs. This provides greater flexibility for designing complex reading activities, allowing teachers to include multiple perspectives or additional resources for deeper student engagement.

We moved the location of the Export button under the triple dots menu, reducing visual clutter and streamlining navigation. All export functions remain the same.

Answer Choice Explanations can now be bulk generated with AI.

When teachers toggle on Answer Choice Explanations, a "Bulk Generate" option will appear, allowing teachers to save time while ensuring comprehensive and consistent explanations for multiple-choice questions.

A new font picker has been added, including fonts specifically designed for dyslexia. This accommodates students with different learning needs, enhancing accessibility and equity in the classroom.

Teachers can now organize students into custom groups from a formative's summary page. This allows for differentiated instruction, targeted interventions, and collaborative activities, enhancing classroom management and personalized learning experiences. Learn more here.

Game Paced Mode assignments can now be directly posted to specific topics in Google Classroom. This streamlines workflow for teachers, ensures assignments are well-organized, and enhances visibility for students.

We’ve added a timer input on the practice settings card on the start screen. Teachers can now easily set time limits for practice sessions, helping students develop time management skills, foster competition and simulate test-like conditions.

Teachers can now see the number of guest students when configuring assignment settings. This ensures smoother classroom management, particularly during assessments or collaborative tasks with temporary participants.
