We've been busy! Here's a sneak peek at our July 2023 new features and improvements:

This new content item type allows teachers to create Paired Passages - 2 text passages that are connected in some way with enhancing questions that relate to both! Click the hyperlink above to learn more about his new feature!

Formative's headers will now include the option for teachers to add Teacher Notes - for teacher eyes only! These can include tips, instructions for lesson plans or other information about the formative which becomes a permannet part of the formative. The notes are also available to any collaborator or teacher who uses the formative.

We have added 'economically disadvantaged' information to the demographic data that is accessed by clicking the blue totals in the Responses view (Gold plan only)

Teachers now have the capibility to assign both Text to Speech accommodations and Time Limit Extension accommodations to multiple students at once!

Answers that provided the students with Partial Credit will be marked with a yellow indicator on the frequency chart view, to differentiate from answers that received full score

As an enhancement to the new Answer Choice Explanations feature, we added the ability for teachers who opted in to use our Beta features to generate Answer Choice Explanations using Ai. You can generate single explanations or explanations to all answer choices at once!

AI Feedback Generation is now enabled fo Fill In The Blank and Matching question types, as well as Short Answer and Free Response.

Two new Ai badges were added to the achievement page to show progress in generating Hints and Questions. Want access to Ai within Formative? Opt-in to our Beta Features.

Student Practice is now available for all Teachers and Students as an Early Access feature. This includes the ability to import for 3rd party apps and (if opted into our Beta of Ai features) generating practice sets with Ai

Every techonological tool runs into hiccups here and there. If you run into any technical issues please submit a report to our team so we could go ahead and fix it!

We replaced checkmark buttons with radio buttons to improve site design

We adjusted the print layout of paired passages to print vertically for easier view of both passages

Formative links have been updated to the short link format frm.tv

We have updated the UI of the Formatives page to show the title, collaborators and Common Assessment hovers as tooltips.

The following subjects were added to the list:
