🆕 Enhancement releases
We've been busy! Here's a sneak peek at our January 2025 new features and improvements:
Question of the Day (QOTD)
An interactive study tool aimed at engaging students with daily questions aligned to state standards. Currently available for 8th-grade Math, 8th-grade Algebra I, 10th-grade Science, and 10th-grade Biology, these questions provide targeted practice on key topics to reinforce learning and test readiness.
QOTD will go live every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays
Teachers can opt in to participate in QOTD starting January 7th, 2025, and the first question will be released to students on January 14th, 2025.
Printable Student Summary Slips
Teachers on can now print summary answer slips for students, offering a convenient way to review and discuss their work in class or at home. This enhancement supports better understanding and reflection on student performance and has been widely requested by users. Find Summary Slips under the 'Print' function.
Highlighting on Paired Passages
Students can now highlight text on paired passages, making it easier to compare and analyze related content.
Student Attempt Tracker
We updated the Student-side UI to show students the number of attempts they've made on specific questions, when scores are set to return instantly. This is intended to minimize "guessing".
Font Customization in Profile Settings
Users can select from three font options to improve accessibility and readability:
Open Sans: A versatile, modern sans-serif font.
Open Dyslexic: Designed to make text more accessible for individuals with dyslexia.
Lexend: A font specifically intended to reduce visual stress and enhance reading performance.
