Print Formatives
Paid Teacher plan subscribers and School & District license members have the option to print blank formatives, formatives including student responses, and student summary slips. You can also use the print feature to save as a PDF and upload to a shared drive!
Click on the triple dots at the top right of the page, then select "Print"
Select which option you want to print out of the following:
Blank Formative
If printing blank, toggle "Print With Hints" and/or "Print With Rubric" ON or OFF depending on your preference (these will be available only if hints and/or rubrics exist on the formative), and then click "Preview"
Including Student Responses
If printing including student responses, toggle "Print With Rubric" ON or OFF depending on your preference (this option will be available only if a rubric exists on the formative), then click "Preview".
Proceed to select which class and which student response(s) you want to print.
You can toggle on the buttons at the top to include scores and/or feedback along with the student responses.
Once ready, click "Print"
Student Summary Slip
A summary slip will show your students how they did on the formative in a glance.
If printing a student summary slip, toggle "Print With Hints" and/or "Print With Rubric" ON or OFF depending on your preference (these will be available only if hints and/or rubrics exist on the formative), and then click "Preview".
Proceed to select which class and which specific students to print the summary slip for.
You can toggle on the buttons at the top to include scores and/or student responses on the slip.
Once ready, click "Print"
You will want to select printing with scores, so your students will know which answers were correct or incorrect:
If you select to include student responses too, the summary slip will include the performance and the full responses too.
Blank Formatives will open in a new tab. When you print multiple students' responses, they will open in separate tabs. Please make sure that you have pop-ups enabled for either type of printing!
Print Single Student Responses
Another method of printing formatives including student responses allows you to print for individual students from within the Responses tab:
Click "Totals" in View Responses
Click on student name
In the right sidebar, click on the vertical triple dot menu and select "Print Responses"
Tip: Choose your printer's PDF option to save the formative as a PDF. You can then upload it to a shared drive or email it!

Troublshooting
Why are my students' responses not appearing on the printout despite choosing to print with answers?
Printer communication settings will influence the output. Please check the advanced settings in your printer communication modal to ensure "Background Graphics" is toggled or check-marked ON.
How do I change the scale or number of pages per sheet for the printout?
Changing the scale and the number of pages is a function controlled by the printer communication settings. Please check the advanced settings in your printer communication modal and adjust the following settings until you reach your desired result:

Scale
