We’ve broken the existing admin options on the left-side navigation bar into clearer, more manageable categories like Management (Team Management, OneRoster, and exports), Reports (View district-wide data reports in one place), and AI Content (Manage Luna Configurations - BAF only).

Line Reader allows learners to overlay a movable, highlighted bar directly on top of any formative, focusing their attention on one line of text at a time.

This means students no longer need to lose their place or feel overwhelmed by a dense, busy page while working through an assignment. They can guide themselves through a reading passage, isolate a single question, or steady their focus on long-form or passage text immediately as they engage with the material.

Introducing the new Pre/Post Assessment Comparison Report. This report allows administrators to select a "before" and "after" assessment to compare student performance side-by-side. It provides a big-picture view of overall performance changes and a detailed scatter chart showing average per-student growth on the specific standards the two assessments share. It also includes filters to drill down data by specific schools or individual teachers.

The grading method setting allows teachers to control how student scores are calculated for specific activities. This setting ensures that scores accurately reflect student progress and performance according to the teacher's goals for that assignment. It affects the scores displayed on the Activity Responses page and what students see on their dashboards.

Teachers can now set a "default grading method" (progress vs. total) within their user profile preferences. This chosen method is automatically applied whenever the teacher creates a new formative from scratch or clones an existing one. This change streamlines the assignment setup process for teachers who have a consistent preference, reducing the manual effort required to adjust settings for every new activity.

The results summary now accurately displays the online status of co-teachers. This ensures that when multiple educators are viewing an assignment, their presence is visible in the teacher breakdown, matching the live collaborator sidebar behavior and improving situational awareness during live sessions.

The lesson building experience is now more intuitive with the addition of rich previews for question prompts in the sidebar. Teachers can now see a brief summary of question text alongside item icons, making it easier to navigate long lessons.

Furthermore, new lessons now default to "Teacher Paced" mode when assigned, aligning the platform with the most common instructional workflows for lesson-based content.

This update introduces a comprehensive scientific calculator featuring two-tab keypads for advanced functions including trigonometry, statistics, logarithms, and constants. These additions significantly enhance the platform’s utility for secondary math students and teachers requiring complex calculation capabilities within their digital activities.

Teachers leading paced sessions can now review individual question responses from their remote control without advancing the students' active screen. The remote's options are also consolidated into a single settings row, allowing quick sorting and view changes from a cleaner, non-intrusive popover menu.

A new "Return to session" action has been added to the assign modal, formative list, and results views. This allows teachers to easily jump back into active teacher-paced or Champions Challenge sessions they may have navigated away from, ensuring live instructional flows are not interrupted if the teacher accidentally leaves the session page.

Teachers can now view a student's full activity list directly inside the security incident history modal on the Responses tab. This update consolidates lock, pause, and student navigation events into a single, easily accessible view, making it simpler for teachers to investigate test-taking behavior.

Teachers can now select "Italian" from the common assessment settings and search filters subject dropdowns. This update enables proper categorizing and filtering of Italian-language lessons and assessments across the platform.

Restored the rich, filled header image option for formatives alongside a customizable layout picker in the header editing modal. Uploaded images default to a clean inset style to ensure presentation clarity, while decorative patterns default to a full layout.

Resolved an issue where fullscreen modals, such as the "Show Your Work" drawing canvas, were partially obscured by the Respondus lockdown browser toolbar. Students can now access critical buttons like "Done" without visual interference, ensuring a smoother and more reliable testing experience when using secure browser extensions.

AI-suggested formative items and updates now appear as pending actions directly within the item list, giving teachers intuitive "accept" or "reject" controls in context rather than auto-committing changes to the formative.

We have enhanced the safety of custom quick links by introducing stricter URL validation. Any links containing invalid or unsafe schemes will now be rendered as non-clickable content in the dashboard and formative lists. This prevents users from navigating to broken or malicious addresses, ensuring that the quick link feature remains a reliable shortcut for teacher-curated content.

Launching teacher-paced or game-paced sessions now navigates the current tab instead of opening a new browser window. This streamlined experience includes a new "Back" button within the session controls, allowing for easier navigation and reducing browser tab clutter during live classroom activities.

AI-generated rubrics for free-response questions are now handled in an "in-memory" state before being permanently added to a formative. This provides teachers a chance to review and edit the rubric criteria and scoring levels privately before committing them to the assignment and student grading workflow.

Users can now collapse expanded sections or formative items by clicking on the background workspace. This intuitive interaction streamlines the editing process by allowing teachers to quickly close detailed views without needing to find and click specific "collapse" buttons for every individual item.

Enhanced security for quick links prevents users from moving links into folders they do not have permission to edit. This ensures data integrity by enforcing server-side authorization checks during the move process, regardless of whether the action was initiated through the user interface or API.

This update improves the whiteboard experience on iPad by ensuring the Apple Pencil can be used to interact with toolbars, menus, and dialog buttons. Previously, while the Pencil could be used for drawing, it did not always register "clicks" on the surrounding interface. iPad users can now operate all whiteboard features entirely with the Pencil.
