Formative offers teachers the ability to view students' timeline of general activity in Formative within the last 90 days, as well as students' full timeline of activity within any individual formative (without time limit).

Student submitted a formative
You can even tell when a student answered a question that was later deleted by the teacher. The alert will look like this:
Viewing General Student Timeline
There are two pathways to access the General Student Timeline log:
Option 1: Accessing the Timeline log from the Student Profile
From the Student Management page, click on the carat to the far right of the student record to access the Student Profile page
Click on "Timeline" to view the log
Option 2: Accessing the Timeline log directly from the Student Management page
From the Student Management page, check mark the box next to the student's name
Choose "Timeline" from the menu at the bottom of the screen.
You will navigate directly to the log
Viewing Student Timeline For a Specific Formative
To view student activity on a specific formative, start by navigating to the formative's Responses tab:
From the formative's Responses tab, click on the student's name to expand the right-side responses panel
Click the carat next to "Student Timeline" at the bottom of the right-side panel
Scroll through the timeline to view what the student did in the formative and when
To exit the activity log, scroll to the top and click the carat next to "Student Timeline" again
