Styling and Hyperlinking TextGIF

When creating text for Formative questions or content, you can style and hyperlink the text. You may do so by highlighting text and then selecting one of the options in the menu that appears.

You can bold, italicize, or underline text; use subscript and superscript options; turn text into lists or bullet points; make text into a heading, and even change the text's color!

You can select the hyperlink option to create a clickable link that students can visit. Simply copy the URL of the page you want your students to visit, paste it into the box above the text and confirm by clicking on the check mark icon.

Switch to Advanced Editing

Looking for more styling options? Click the triple dots at the top right of your formative, and select 'Switch to Advanced Editing' from the dropdown menu.

You can select to continue editing your original formative, or duplicate it and edit the copy. Click 'Convert' when ready.

Now, the styling and hyperlinking menu will include more advanced options:

Enabling 'Advanced Editing' will also give you the ability to add tables into your question prompts and text items!

Simply click the small plus button within the text field and select 'Table' from the dropdown menu:
