Add a text box to your formative
Click on the "+" icon
Choose "Text" from the Content types
Type something for your students to read!
Use the built in menu to edit and style your text
You can also add content between other things on your formative. Simply click on the + icon in between questions or content you've already created and select from the menu that appears
Tip: You can add multiple questions to the text block, so your questions are grouped together

The Student Experience
Your students can use a Highlighter to annotate or mark text within a Text item you provide them with. They simply select the text section with their mouse or touchpad, then click on the highlighter color of their choice from the 4 options offered. The text they selected will immediately be highlighted.
Pro Tip!
If you add a Drawing question to your text box, or a Show Your Work box (Silver/Gold) to any of the questions you add to your formative - your students will be able to add a screenshot of their annotated text for your review.
