  2. Start drawing or select the image icon to upload an image from your files

  3. If you prefer to use the image as decorative only, check mark the Decorative box and the screen reader will skip the image

PDF - Add and Generate Questions

When selecting a PDF file - our system will automatically convert the document into an Image file. You have an option to add the PDF and generate questions to go along with it using Formative's AI agent.

This functionality works for one page of PDF at a time. Once the PDF is done processing and has been converted into images:

  1. Deselect all the pages of the PDF

  2. Check-mark (select) the one PDF page you wish to work with

  3. Click 'Add and generate questions'

  4. Proceed to add a prompt and adjust the settings for the questions generation

  5. Allow our AI agent to process your request, and once questions have been generated proceed to select which to add to your activity

Removing the PDF after questions have been generated

You have the option to remove the image and keep only the generated questions. To do this:

  1. Click on the pencil icon at the top of the uploaded PDF

  2. Click on the trashcan icon

  3. Confirm removal of the PDF item

Once the PDF has been removed, the generated questions will remain as stand-alone questions that are not dependent on the previously uploaded content item.
