We understand teachers spend hundreds of dollars every year to keep their classrooms up to date with lessons, tools to help the students learn faster, software, and more. That's why we wanted to make it easy for teachers to use tools like Donors Choose and PledgeCents to be able to fund Formative with just a few clicks. Here are a few alternative ways you can fund Formative.

Donors Choose makes it easy for people to help teachers fund their classroom and tools they need to improve their student experiences. They make it easy to request items, get funded, and receive the goods you were funded for. Here is more information on getting started with Donors Choose:

In order to request an invoice for DonorsChoose you will need to contact one of our customer service representatives to get this sent to your email. You can do this by starting a chat with us by clicking on the blue circle in the bottom right of this screen. Or you can also email us at support@formative.com with this request.

Once you have your invoice from us, DonorsChoose must pay that invoice within 30 days, or it will expire and no longer be valid. They will have the option to pay this invoice with either a credit card or ACH wire transfer.

Please note: We do not accept checks through this method.

PledgeCents allows teachers to easily create a fundraising page, share this page, and raise money for their classroom. They don't have any fees for fundraising, and you will get the money regardless of if you hit your goal for the fundraiser or not. Here is a short video on how PledgeCents works:
