Change Roles for Teachers, Org Managers, & Admins

Change Roles

Here's how you can change roles for teachers, org managers, & admins:

  1. Go to your Admin Tools 'Management' tab

  2. Under the Team Management sub-tab, click on the desired school and/or department

  3. Locate the educator's name in the right panel

  4. Click on the drop down next to their name and select their new role from the dropdown menu. You will have the option to change the educator's role to Admin, Org Manager, or Teacher. You will also have the option to move them to a different team or Remove them from the team.

See "Unverified" teachers in your team? These are teachers who chose your team/school when they signed up for a Formative account without being invited to the School & District license yet. If you recognize these teachers, you can verify their status. To do this, click on the "Unverified" label and select "Invited". An email invitation will be sent to the teacher and once accepted their account will be rolled into the team's license.
