The Library

When publishing a formative to the library you share it with other educators without affecting the original formative you own. All Formative users can publish their formatives to the public library, and our Gold plan members can publish their formatives to a private library accessible only to members of their own organization.

You can access the Publish to the Library window either from the main Activities page, or from within a specific formative or folder.

Publish Formatives to the Library

  1. Begin with choosing which of the following access points you prefer:

The main Activities page

Check mark the box next to the formative you want to publish, then click on the "Publish" button from the menu at the bottom of the page

From within the Formative

From within the formative you want to publish, click on the triple dots menu at the top right corner and choose "Publish to Library" from the dropdown menu

2. Withn the window click on "Edit"

3. Fill out the publication settings fields - Select the "type of Formative", who you'd like to grant access to (public, private or both), the grades, subjects and languages. Feel free to write a description. Your description will show as "Notes from the author" when others preview your formative in the Library. You can even add an image to the publication.

You can now specify the language(s) of a formative when you publish to the library!

You can also decide to add your Formative to an existing bundle (library folder) or create a new one:
