Printing Formatives
Paid Teacher plan subscribers and School & District license members have the option to print formatives in multiple formats - both blank and including student responses. You can also use the print feature to save as a PDF and upload to a shared drive!
Below you can find the step-by-step instructions to printing fillable versions of your formatives - either as simple blank formatives, or as booklets.
To begin click on the triple dots at the top right of the page, then select "Print".
Proceed to select which option you want to print out of the following:
Blank Formative
Select "Blank Formative" from the print options. Toggle "Print With Rubric" ON or OFF depending on your preference (this will be available only if a rubric exists on the formative), and then click "Preview".
The print preview will open in a separate tab (please make sure that pop-ups are enabled in your browser). You can adjust your print settings to change how the formative is printed.
Tip: Choose your printer's PDF option to save the formative as a PDF. You can then upload it to a shared drive or email it!
Print Booklet
Utilizing a high-efficiency two-column, low-ink layout, this option allows teachers to print blank assessments more sustainably, saving paper and ink while maintaining high-quality rendering for complex question types, paired passages, math equations, and rich text formatting within a professional booklet format. Multiple-choice options will also automatically format into a space-efficient, side-by-side two-column layout.
Select your preferred booklet layout at the top of the print modal: either a fillable "Student Booklet" version, or a "Teacher Booklet" version (which includes a cover page, standards summaries, and correct answer keys).
Proceed to select Font Size and the amount of columns for print. You can also toggle "Print With Rubric" ON to append associated rubrics as clean, dedicated pages at the end of the printed booklet.
Click 'Preview' when ready.
