Duplicate a formative
Formatives can be duplicated with or without preserving previously entered settings, to create fresh versions of the same assignment or test. The assessment settings preserved include Subject, Grade Level, Type, School Year, and any existing common assessment settings.
From the Activities tab
Check mark the box to the left of a formative on the "Activities" tab
Select "Duplicate" from the menu at the bottom of the page
Edit the Prefix and Suffix fields to your preference (these will appear on the title of the new copy created)
Checkmark the box next to "Retain Assessment Settings" if you would like to preserve them on the copy
Complete the action by clicking on the "Copy" button
The new copy will immediately populate on your Activities tab
You can then click into the newly copied formative and adjust any settings to your liking, if needed
From the Editor page
You can also duplicate a formative while you are editing it, however this option will not offer a way to adjust the prefix and suffix in advance, nor will it preserve the formative's settings. You could adjust these details manually after duplicating the formative.
Simply go to the triple dot menu in the upper right corner of your "Edit" screen and select "Duplicate formative."
*Note: Clones don't have any pre-existing responses! Great for making modifications and redos!
